About

Hello! I’m Emilie (she/her) - I’m a Birth and Postpartum Doula and mental health professional, servicing the Melbourne Northern suburbs.

I am all about honouring, and supporting women and birthing people in their own power through this transformative time.

I trust the mother’s intuition and believe that how you feel during your pregnancy, birthing and postpartum experience is profoundly important.

Whether you’re a first-time mum, or a new mother to another little love, I offer personalised birth support, continuity and mental health informed care with opportunities to be deeply heard and loved.

If I’m not supporting births or new mums, you’ll find me mothering my own beautiful children, drinking coffee or on a yoga mat in a downward facing dog.

Testimonial

“As first time parents, we were naturally nervous - Em made us feel so held. She gave us what felt like all of her time, her wealth of knowledge, her energy and kindness, as we navigated our way through pregnancy and into parenthood. By my due date I was so excited to give birth! We will always look back on this time of our lives with so much warmth and joy. I would invite Em back into our birth space a million times over.” Amy and Anthony

“Wow! Where do I start with Em! First and foremost, I cannot recommend Em enough as a Doula. We loved how she guided us in building our birth plan, thoughtfully discussing all the potential twists and turns along the way. When it came to the birth itself, she brought a calming yet direct energy to the room, easing the pressure on both me and my partner. She stayed by our side through a marathon 3-day labour, supporting us right up to the incredible moment we welcomed our beautiful boy. Em truly goes above and beyond for her clients—from her homemade cakes to coffee runs and thoughtful check-in texts. If you're looking for a Doula in Melbourne, Em is the one. It's clear she genuinely loves what she does!” S and L

“I can confidently say that having her support was one of the best decisions I made. From the moment we met, Em was warm, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to understand my values & my birth preferences and helped me navigate the entire process with confidence and ease. Her calming energy, encouragement, and guidance helped me stay focused and empowered during each step of the experience. I felt truly cared for, and I could tell that Em was fully invested in making sure the birth was as positive and smooth as possible.

What stood out most was her ability to communicate with my partner and the medical team, ensuring that everyone was on the same page and that my wishes were respected. I can't recommend Emilie enough to any expectant parent. Her professionalism, expertise, and genuine care made my birth experience far more positive than I could have imagined. If you're considering a doula- Emilie is truly exceptional! She brings a lot of knowledge and care to her work.” Fairuza and Lucian
