Giving back
At Radiant Birth, we believe that care should never exist in isolation.
Just as we support the individuals and families who come into our care, we also feel called to extend that care into the wider community. Particularly for people and communities who continue to face barriers to safety, support, and equitable care.
Our intention is to donate a portion of our income is donated to organisations and initiatives that align with our values of equity, dignity, and collective wellbeing. We are proud to contribute to causes that uplift women, birthing people, families, and communities.
At present all donations go to Birth For Humankind, they provide free doula support and childbirth education to women and gender diverse birthing people experiencing disadvantage across greater Melbourne, Australia.
When you work with one of our doulas we donate a minimum of $30 up to $100
When you book one of our birth and postpartum education courses we donate $20
When you buy our Radiant Birth Book we donate $2
We have raised $942 so far in 2025.
We are so happy that we are able to help in our small and humble way to ensure that the work of BFHK remains possible. We encourage everyone to donate here.
Many members of our team are also volunteer doulas with Birth For Humankind, so we know first hand the impact and importance of this service.
We recognise that birthwork is deeply intertwined with justice work. To support a mother, a birthing person, or a family is to step into a larger conversation about the world we want to live in. One where care is a right, not a privilege. One where all people are held, valued, and respected.
