Hello and welcome.

I am so glad you are here.

I imagine that we have connected in one way or another, whether that is in person or online through this divine doula work. You’re reading this because I have said “wanna be part of the collective?” and you said “yeah, maybe!” and you know… now this is all of the information.

What is the collective?

We are a group, gaggle, coven, collective (whatever word vibes with you most), I used to say team; which we are in a lot of ways, but actually part of the magic of this constellation of wonderful humans is that we are all working individually as doulas, in our own ways and while at times there are opportunities to work together with families, mostly we come together for all manner of things and then we operate in our own businesses.

We are birth and postpartum doulas that help bring relationship based care to these sacred rites of passage.

Oft times the work of a doula is a solo endeavour, it can be lonely if a little isolating and most often lacks the support of like-minded peers who get it, get you and are there beside you to support and champion you. When I think team, I feel like it calls upon there being more heirarchy or structure; we have opportunities to connect, learn and support one another; but it is without pressure or expectation. We all get to show up how we want and in the capacity that suits our season.

Why do I do this?

When I became owner of Radiant Birth, I loved all the things about it; but more than anything I loved the people who do this work, just like me. I have had so many conversations about the good bits and the challenging bits, many back and forth DM’s, voice notes and lively chats over coffee.

It’s very much in my nature to see a problem and wonder, “how can I make this better?” and not just better for the sake of it but being better for the people who are touched by it; whether they are offering care or receiving it.

My first hope is to see you thrive in the pregnancy, birth and motherhood spaces.
My second is to support you and sustain you so you can see a bright future in this work.
My third and deepest motivation is to connect mothers, birthing people and families with the kind of support that just might change the world one birth, one broth and one hug at a time.

Maybe they are all my number one - can I have three number ones?

I am a bit of a dreamer and maybe you are too?

I became owner Radiant Birth, circa February 2025, my intention is to honour the heart and essence of what Radiant Birth has always been, because I truly love what it offers to the community, while also allowing it to evolve and grow alongside me.

I want Radiant Birth to be full of heart and depth, a space that feels accessible and inclusive, where everything we offer honours each person and their unique experience. We don’t tell people what to do or sell a “right way”; we share knowledge, tools and opportunities that help people grow confidence in what feels right and true for them.

And to me, that is the “doula way”… its about creating spaces for people to unfurl, express, acknowledge, learn, grow and lean in.

In the first year, I have re-written the course content and updated the formats intro three key workshops covering birth preparation, postpartum preparation and community connection. The collective has grown from four to sixteen amazing doulas and humans, and it continues to expand.

All the while I have been actively doing my own doula work full time. I didn’t just take on RB to get out of on call life, I REALLY love it and am seeking ways to make it more sustainable long term.

For that reason, in mid October 2025 I made the hard but necessary call to pause my own in person birth support from March 2026-March 2027, I am now starting to bring on call work back into my world. I cannot WAIT to start taking on new birthing people as I know I will miss the birth buzz. But I have also needed the break and I am so glad I have honoured that.

In the second year my focus has been squarely on Radiant Birth, our offerings and collective for this next year or so to build a solid foundation on which it can go from strength to strength. Through that process I got real about the parts of the business I vibe and the ones that drain me. The workshops are wonderful, but I didn’t look forward to them, and I believe in following joy… so I have paused them.

What this has given me space for is that now, I can spend more time promoting the offerings and work of the doulas in the collective in their own communities. Including those that do or want to offer childbirth education or circles or workshops or who have products or run yoga classes.

I know that what this will mean is more offerings, locally for people across Victoria, and that’s what I think we need…. don’t you?

The way I offer community and support is my own unique brand, it’s not perfect, it’s flexible, it’s responsive, it honours mothers and all people in the seasons they are in, it’s about being who we are, and being SEEN the way that we see others.

I used to think that I needed to know exactly what the road ahead would look like but Radiant Birth has always been about community, collaboration and care, and as we move toward 2027, I’m excited to deepen connection, opportunities, growth and support for both our doulas and the families we support.

As Radiant Birth grows, my hope is that this space remains collaborative, a community where ideas can be shared, projects can be co-created, and everyone can be involved in shaping its future. I want to bring projects to the team that offer you the chance to participate as equals, in whatever capacity feels right for you, not as employees under a “boss”, but as valued contributors to something meaningful and ever-evolving.

Together, I believe we can continue to expand what Radiant Birth represents: a collective that celebrates women, birthing people, parents, families and the cycles of life with warmth, wisdom and connection.

I want every doula and person connected to it to soar, to thrive and be supported and connected through it.

We are here to offer care for mothers, birthing people, parents and families while also offering care to and learning from ..each other.

Your investment

To become a member of the Radiant Birth Doula Collective you:

Pay a 12 month membership fee of $300

As a member of the Radiant Birth Doula Collective you:

Pay a referral fee for every client that you book via the Radiant Birth brand; this can happen via contact form, socials or if they indicate they found you through RB, it’s an honesty system based on trust, if they come to you as a result of RB then the referral fee is payable. It is important that your packages are priced to incorporate this cost.
The referral fee is 10% up to a maximum of $240 whichever is lower, this enables smaller packages to have a reasonable referral fee and that you are paid a living wage for your work.
I recommend to everyone that this is a great opportunity to consider your package pricing and make sure that you are being paid what feels good for the work you do

Because you have important wisdom to share and when we share we’re all better for it; honestly I don’t chase people on this but I would love it if you did!):

Commit to one 30 minute knowledge sharing sessions per calendar year which will be held during our monthly catch ups or you can pre-record it
OR one article on a relevant topic for the Radiant Birth website (with your name credited as author)
