About

Caitlin is a  mother, a daughter, a partner, a friend and a mother lover.

Through her own pregnancy, birth and postpartum experiences has felt a huge pull to provide postpartum care and education.

Loving on families lights her up! Filling bellies, having juicy conversations and giving

mothers the space to really feel into their motherhood is what gets her going.

The opportunity to give YOU the best start in postpartum is what she is here for.

Caitlin offers deeply customised care, recognising that every motherhood journey is as unique as the person experiencing it. She weaves strong connections to community, with a trusted network of care providers and parenting resources always at hand. Her approach is grounded in non-judgmental listening, creating a safe, welcoming space where every feeling is honoured and heard.

Caitlin warmly embraces the diversity of families and mothering, holding an open door for all who mother in their own way. And, of course, she brings a little extra magic to her care with her love of nourishing food, whether that is brewing a great cuppa and making a mean ragu to share with those she supports.

About my support

My support is grounded, heart-led, and centred around gently holding you through the transition from pregnancy into early parenthood. In your planning session, we might explore ways to prepare for the early postpartum weeks, set boundaries, organise a meal train, or map out partner support and rest strategies. Once baby is here, my postpartum visits are a blend of nourishment and care. I’ll arrive with a main meal, snacks, and a warm drink, ready to support you emotionally, talk through your birth, tend to baby, or simply help around the home. Whatever is most needed, I’m there with calm, kindness, and presence.

Testimonial

“I became a first-time mum in July last year. Like any first-time mum, I was so overwhelmed, clueless and sometimes lonely… I felt soooo lucky to have Caitlin.

Caitlin is generous, gentle, warm, and grounded. She has a very intuitive approach to motherhood which she radiates, and you can tell she’s passionate about mums, motherhood and babies. She was everything I needed in postpartum support and I was so grateful.

She supported me in so many ways – delicious nutritious treats perfect for recovery and milk production, company and listening, helping me with tasks like shopping or chemist runs, cuddling/changing my baby while I had a shower or put some washing on, or providing tips and tricks to make new motherhood easier while still feeling connected to bub. I truly felt hand in hand on my postpartum journey.

I could not recommend Hand in Hand (Caitlin) highly enough for the perfect level of support any new mum needs. ✨
