Our new 1-day workshop that takes postpartum preparation seriously, because postpartum is forever.

Prepare for life after birth with our nourishing one-day postpartum workshop, designed to gently guide you through the emotional, physical, and practical terrain of early parenthood.

Holistic education for life after birth. Whether you’re a first-time parent or returning again, this course offers a grounded, evidence-based and culturally-aware approach to postpartum planning. Through education, discussion and reflection, you’ll leave with clarity, confidence and a personal map for the fourth trimester.

Course Flow

Each day begins with a specialist pre-natal yoga session before we move into our learning modules.

We will provide snacks and lunch, and we will move our bodies.

Our educators will share their wisdom and knowledge on a range of topics throughout the day.

You’ll create a postpartum plan.

The Postpartum Landscape & History

An honest look at the postpartum period – exploring expectations, identity, and cultural narratives. Together we reimagine a supported, spacious postpartum grounded in presence and care.

What babies REALLY need

Explore the simple, foundational needs of newborns – closeness, comfort, feeding, and connection. Learn how to tune into your baby’s cues, support bonding, and foster trust through responsive care.

Your Postpartum Body

Understand the physical changes and healing your body goes through after birth. We’ll cover recovery, movement, hormonal shifts, and how to support your body with compassion and patience.

Rest, Recovery & Sleep

Learn about the physical healing process after birth, the importance of rest and how to support your whole self. We’ll talk about the developmentally normal realities of newborn sleep alongside practical sleep expectations for you and your baby. We’ll also explore the emotional realities of interrupted sleep and ways to cope gently.

Nourishment & Rhythms

Support your body with healing foods, meal prep ideas, and gentle daily rhythms. We’ll cover foundational breastfeeding education, common challenges, and how partners or support people can help protect the feeding journey.

Relationships & Boundaries

Explore changes in identity, communication, and connection. Learn to navigate family dynamics, visitors, emotional and physical needs, and how to hold healthy boundaries in the early weeks.

Guest Facilitators for Guided Practice, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Breastfeeding and more

Each course features trusted guest facilitators, sharing their unique wisdom and experience to enrich your preparation for postpartum. Guided sessions may include Traditional Chinese Medicine, breastfeeding education, embodied practices, and other essential topics to support your transition into parenthood.

Integration & Reflection

We close with journaling, discussion and time for questions. You’ll leave with your own tailored postpartum plan and a deepened sense of readiness.

Support, Roles & Resources

Understand what true postpartum support looks like. Discover the roles of doulas, traditional chinese medicine, lactation consultants, maternal health nurses, and your wider village. We’ll help you map who’s in your corner and how to call them in.
