Internal Pelvic Release Client Information Form

Internal Pelvic Release Client Information Form

Before We Begin

This form is an important part of preparing for your Internal Pelvic Release Work session. It offers a gentle starting point for us to understand your history, your needs, and the kind of support that will feel safe, respectful and attuned for you. Your responses help shape the session so that it honours your pace, your boundaries, and the unique story held within your body.

All information is confidential and stored securely. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels right. Nothing here is about perfection or pressure; it is simply about meeting you with clarity, care and consent.

About the Practitioner

Your session will be facilitated by Josie Hipwell, a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula (Australian Doula College) and trained Internal Pelvic Release Practitioner under Fiona Hallinan. Josie’s work blends grounded anatomical knowledge with bodywork, breathwork, embodiment, and a deeply trauma-aware approach. She supports women and birthing people through pregnancy, postpartum, and life’s significant transitions with steadiness, openness and reverence for the body.

Internal Pelvic Release Work at Radiant Birth draws on principles of somatic awareness, gentle direct touch, and supported connection with the pelvic space. This practice centres your autonomy at every step. Nothing is done without your clear, ongoing consent, and you remain in control throughout the entire session.

Scope of Practice

Internal Pelvic Release Work is a non-medical, non-diagnostic modality.
It does not replace medical treatment, pelvic physiotherapy, or clinical assessment. Instead, it offers a complementary pathway for body-based awareness, release, and reconnection.

Josie does not diagnose conditions, offer medical advice, or perform clinical evaluations. The work focuses on supporting the soft tissues, fascia, ligaments and emotional holding patterns of the pelvic space through gentle internal and external touch.

If any part of your history indicates that additional medical support may be helpful, this will be discussed with care and transparency, and you will always be encouraged to seek the practitioners who best meet your needs.
