About
I found this incredible work after my youngest started school, when I finally had space to ask myself what I wanted to be when I grew up — and I found it. I'm a mum to two amazing kids (8 and 14), and married to a clever, creative, and very grounding husband. We married young and still really like each other — winning!
So, what kind of doula am I? I’m practical, grounded, and deeply passionate about informed birth. I support hospital and home births with equal joy, helping you feel confident, calm, and excited.
During pregnancy, I become your safe person — someone you can laugh with, cry with, and send the weird questions to. I believe in your ability to birth and want you to feel seen, supported, and held, every step of the way.
I’m big on education, team vibes, and creating a birth space that feels good for you. Whether you're after someone to keep you focused and empowered, or just need a solid hand to hold — I’m here for it all.

About my support
Antenatal
It all starts off with a good old chat. We'll utilise our antenatal visits to cover information on birth preferences, comfort measures, pain management, education, and most importantly, your ideal vision of what you'd like your birth to look like. This is a time for us to get to know each other, to build rapport and for us to work out what support will be most beneficial for your family. As a part of our antenatal visits, I offer the opportunity to explore the process of birth mapping. Birth plans? Pfft, no thank you. A "plan" suggests there's one right way to do things, and it's a failure if it doesn't happen. A "map" shows us what birth can look like if it takes us down road a, b, c or d, etc, and the process of "birth mapping" enables you to make informed decisions along the way. Throughout our work together, I’m available to answer any questions you or your partner might have and to help you understand things as they happen. My goal is for you and your partner to feel empowered throughout this experience and never have to feel like you have no clue what’s going on!
Labour & Birth
From the time that I go on call, my phone will be on, my doula bag will be by the front door and I’ll be ready to go! Say the word and I am there. In terms of the labour and birth, I’m there with you from when you need me at the beginning until you feel ready to let me go (my maximum time limit is when bub reaches 2 years old, k?). I can be present for elective & non elective caesarean births too! Photos and videos are a great way to look back on things, I'm not going to lie, I'm not coming in with a schmancy camera and then using a fandangle editing system. I use my phone (which admittedly DOES have a great camera!) and then send you everything that I've taken.
Postpartum
Once you're settled in and ready for a visitor, I'll love on you and bub. We can debrief your birth experience, chat through how your body (and mind!) is recovering and how new born life is treating you. I can help you with any issues that may have come up and tell you how freaking gorgeous your new little human is and how epically amazing YOU are. A foot soak and massage is also on offer as we chat away.
Testimonials
Beth was professional from start to finish. She was very friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable leading up to the birth of our first child, including providing some amazing hints and tips and answering our very questions thoroughly.
She tailored her services and communication style to what we needed at the time, including making sure the information she provided was evidence based. We were so delighted to have Beth accompany us on our birthing journey and beyond as she ended up being our pregnancy angel.
Shailla & Jules
We were late in our pregnancy when we met with Beth. Hesitating for a while if we wanted a doula. Once we met Beth we instantly knew that we had made the right choice, wishing we had met Beth earlier.
Beth’s knowledge, calming nature and great sense of humor allowed us to feel supported and empowered. Beth ‘just knew’ what tips to give and what to say which was invaluable for our journey.
Thank you for helping us experience such a magical birth.
