Private Birth Preparation Session Outline

Radiant Birth private education is a personalised, in-home birth preparation experience designed to support you as you move through pregnancy, explore your hopes for birth, and prepare for the early postpartum period. This one-on-one session offers spacious, uninterrupted time with an experienced doula who tailors the content to your needs, your questions, and the unique rhythms of your pregnancy.

Your session is practical, gentle, and deeply grounded in both evidence-based knowledge and traditional wisdom. We explore birth physiology, comfort measures, decision-making, navigating the maternity system, partner support, and what to expect in the hours, days, and weeks after birth. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, this approach allows for meaningful pauses, deeper conversations, and a focus that reflects your personal circumstances, history, and preferences.

We support women, birthing people, and families with respect for autonomy, culture, identity, and the emotional landscape of birth. Birth is an intimate rite of passage, whether this is your first time crossing the threshold or you are returning to it after previous experiences. You deserve thoughtful preparation, clear information, and a space where your questions and stories are held with care.

Your private birth education session brings together modern insights and longstanding practices from both Eastern and Western traditions. You will learn practical comfort techniques, supportive positions, breathwork, partner tools, and real-world strategies for navigating the dynamic flow of labour. We also explore early postpartum, newborn needs, feeding choices, and how to create a gentle, supported transition once your baby is here.

At Radiant Birth, we are not only educators—we are active birth workers. Our doulas bring lived experience from birth suites, homes, and postpartum visits, ensuring that what we teach is relevant, grounded, and responsive to the realities families meet. You are supported by someone who understands the system, honours your autonomy, and walks beside you through this transformative season.

With compassion always,

“A dream birth like this doesn't just happen - it takes work & a great support team. I really wish every mother could have the wonderful care i had. Yahna's guidance and the birthing course had us so damn well informed and therefore super equipped to make decisions when we hit any roadblocks. She kept expectations & realities raw & real, while encouraging me to soften & surrender. Ain't no sugar coating from this babe - just a lot of love, laughs and truth bombs!”
